121. Introduction to Channel Theory, Part I

This two-part session will explore channel approaches to acupuncture; instances in which a channel approach, rather than a TCVM approach, would be preferred for point location; the benefits of needing fewer needles in a treatment to make a difference; approaching point location through different channel models; and choosing the correct channel approach for the patient.

Patricia Baley graduated from the University of Basel Biocenter with a Ph.D. in cell biology in 1990 and completed her DVM at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She has been studying Chinese Veterinary Medicine for more than 20 years and began practicing TCVM exclusively in 2004.
