This session will cover proactively addressing crowding and rotation to prevent disease from occurring later in life; preventing periodontal disease from occurring early in life; and making anesthetic dentistry an annual wellness procedure beginning at 1 year of age.

Barden Greenfield is a board-certified veterinary dentist practicing in Memphis. He received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University and his DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He became boarded in dentistry in 2011. Dr. Greenfield is a past president of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, which is the educational and fundraising branch of veterinary dentistry. Dr. Greenfield's passion for dentistry has led him to lecture on dental-related topics around the world. In 2016, he was the recipient of the prestigious AVDC Peter Emily Service Award.
